【好樣】美國版父與子--I Can Only Imagine

七月到菲律賓馬尼拉參加表妹婚禮，在婚禮上被一支影片的背景音樂所吸引，
很巧地回台後隔天又在ICRT上聽到這首歌，於是Google了一下記憶中的歌詞，
意外發現了這個感人的故事 (邊看邊哭～)。



這是一對長跑健將 --Team Hoyt，
一個是患有腦性麻痺，只能用眼睛和額頭與這世界溝通的兒子 (Rick Hoyt)，
一個是為了兒子的笑容，為了消除兒子的殘障感而開始跑步的父親 (Dick Hoyt)。
從1977年開始，爸爸推著坐在輪椅上的兒子一共跑了3770英里，
參加過無數次的馬拉松和鐵人三項比賽，
最好的成績是2小時40分鐘，只比世界記錄晚了35分鐘，
而那世界記錄，卻是由沒有推著輪椅的選手所創的。

當NBC訪問Dick，盛讚他的所為早已超越一般父親，
Dick說，他只不過是愛他的家人而已。
在Rick心中，爸爸是美國第一父親，
他最大的心願就是，爸爸坐上輪椅，讓他推一次。

2005年，Dick因輕微心臟病發，被診斷出他的一條大動脈有95%拴塞，
醫生對Dick說：「若非你一直保持這樣良好的狀態，你在15年前可能已離開人世。」

每一個孩子的誕生，都是上天送給父母的禮物，
我無法想像一位父親還能為小孩付出到什麼程度，
我唯一知道的是，這對父子的生命都因為對方的存在而更為豐盛圓滿。

人生比的不是數字，而是故事，我也有我想寫的故事，你有嗎？
可以因夢想而忙碌，別因忙碌而忘了夢想，永遠要記住：
